for the festival. Please contact Joanne Ehrlich (ancey7@cox.net)
if you would like additional information or are willing to help in this
way.

Wendy
Stevens
Hal
Leonard has published a new Level 1 piece composed by member Wendy Stevens.
The piece, Irish Celebration, is reminiscent of a lively Irish jig and
would be fun for St. Patrick's celebrations as well as spring recitals.
Hal Leonard says, "Beginning piano students will love the dancing
spirit of this little jig! The bagpipe sounds in the teacher accompaniment
add to the fun mood of this toe-tappin' Irish tune." You can see
a sample of the music here: http://www.halleonard.com/viewcloserlook.do?id=00296803&lid=-1&menuid=883&subsiteid=64&
This piece is available at Senseney Music.
Augsburg
Fortress has published a new collection of Wendy Stevens' sacred arrangements.
How Sweet the Sound contains 10 unique arrangements including "This
is My Father's World," "Balm in Gilead," and "How
Sweet the Name of Jesus/Amazing Grace." These arrangements are late
intermediate level (easier than Wendy's first book, Rejoice!). This book
is also available at Senseney Music. You can see a pdf sample of the arrangements
here: http://www.augsburgfortress.org/store/item.jsp?productgroupid=0&isbn=0806696966&clsid=200886&infoid=22785
If you
have any news you'd like to submit
