Great 8 Watercolor Exhibition

Gloria Miller Allen, a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, has selected 80 masterfully executed works that explore light and form through the tradition of transparent media. This exhibition of paintings by artists from Kansas, Colorado, Nebraska, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Arizona, and New Mexico, showcase a diverse range of subject matter and style, while collectively providing a unique perspecitve of the societal and evironmental landscape in which each artist lives and works. After several years, The Wichita Center for the Arts is excited to announce that the infamous Commedia theatre production is back! Commedia is the original musical comedy year in review, featuring many of our city’s wackiest and most loved personalities. The show originally conceived by the legendary Mary Jane Teall, has been lampooning our city’s foibles for over 30 years, and providing Wichita with the unique opportunity to sit up, take notice and laugh at itself.
